Session 6: Food Systems, Farming, and climate justice

Session Description: Participants will reflect on local food systems and access, while also learning about Solano County's agricultural industries and their connection to broader environmental and economic systems. The session will explore how local food systems intersect with climate and social justice issues. 


Session Objectives:

  1. Participants gain knowledge on local food systems and the linkage between food, justice, and climate.

  2. Participants understand the role of agriculture in climate change.

  3. Participants are empowered with knowledge and skills to move towards better food systems
